Shodan is very powerful search engine that not only indexes web pages for endpoints like Google, but it goes the extra mile by having results on the likes of, port scanning, banner grabbing, and even screenshots of devices like IP cameras. Shodan has completed the more active approach to OSINT already, by performing the portscans etc. For a user to then view the results, allows for a more passive approach seeing as we haven't run the scans ourselves. Shodan is a very powerful search engine and should be considered for any OSINT engagement.
