Maltego is an open-source intelligence platform, used for a variety of applications, such as, forensics, intelligence and further analysis. Very similar to Spiderfoot, it using modules to run its investigations on the desired target(s). In the video we use the example of a phrase of "northgreensecurity.com" and it was able to retrieve a variety of information for us to review further. One of the key things with Maltego is the analysis, it was able to determine the different data types, such as:

· Domain names

· Telephone numbers

· Names

· URLs

· DNS Records

The ability to be able to map assets and analysis makes streamlining the OSINT process far easier and more efficient. See below for an example of Maltego:
